Locations

The main office of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Synod is located at 4865 Hamilton Boulevard, Wescosville, Pa., 18106. This location is west of Allentown and immediately west of the turnpike overpass, on the north side of Hamilton Blvd.

The office consists of the main office building and the Reisner Annex, a former home located across the parking lot from the office building.

There are also two satellite offices. The Pocono office is housed at St. John Lutheran Church in Stroudsburg (9 N. 9th Street, Stroudsburg, Pa., 18360). The Hazleton office is housed at Christ Lutheran Church in Conyngham (467 Main Street, PO Box 494, Conyngham, Pa., 18219).

Directions to the Main Office

Map note: The map does not show the new Route 222 bypass, which runs north of Hamilton Blvd. between the Route 222/Hamilton Boulevard interchange with Interstate 78/Route 309 and the PA 100 interchange north of Trexlertown. The directions below make use of the new bypass. The synod office building looks like a church.

Note that the posted speed limit on the new bypass — 45 mph — is strictly enforced.

From Allentown/Bethlehem/Easton
Route 22 west to Route 309 south. Exit onto Route 222 south (toward Reading). Stay in the far right lane on the bypass; this becomes the Brookside Road exit. Proceed a short distance to the light at Hamilton Blvd. Turn left on Hamilton Blvd. The synod office is the fifth building on the left. The next building is the Reisner Annex; the office parking lot is between and behind the synod office and the Reisner Annex. There is a large Wawa across from the office.

From the eastern Poconos
Route 33 south to Route 22 west to Route 309 south. Follow directions from Allentown.

From Scranton
Interstate 476 (northeast extension of the turnpike) south to Exit #56 (Lehigh Valley). Exit onto Route 22 east to Route 309 south (a very short distance). Follow directions from Allentown.

From Reading and west
Route 222 north to the Krocks Road exit from the new Route 222 bypass (note that there is no exit for Brookside Road going north). Turn right (south) on Krocks Road and proceed to the light at Hamilton Blvd. Turn left on Hamilton and proceed approximately 3/4 mile, through the light at Brookside Road. The synod office is the fifth building on the left. The next building is the Reisner Annex; the office parking lot is between and behind the synod office and the Reisner Annex. There is a large Wawa across from the office.

From Schuylkill County and west
Route 22 east to Route 309 south. Follow directions from Allentown.
